If you want to add a sender's e-mail address (or whole domain) to the Blacklist, follow these steps:
- Open the AVG program.
- On the Tools menu, click Advanced settings.
- On the left menu, expand the Anti-Spam item.
- Select the Blacklist option, and then click Edit.
- Enter the e-mail address (or domain) to be blocked - e.g.
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
or just domain.com.
- Click OK.
Now all e-mails received from the e-mail address (domain) that is "blacklisted", will ALWAYS be marked as SPAM.
The procedure for adding a sender's e-mail address (or whole domain) to the Whitelist is similar to the Blacklist:
- Open the AVG program.
- On the Tools menu, click Advanced settings.
- On the left menu, expand the Anti-Spam item.
- Select the Whitelist option, and then click Edit.
- Enter the e-mail address (or domain) to be allowed - e.g.
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
or just domain.com.
- Click OK.
Now all e-mails received from the e-mail address (domain) that is "whitelisted", will NEVER be marked as SPAM.
Note: You can also use the Import button, which will allow you to automatically import e-mail addresses from the Windows Address Book or Microsoft Office.
